ex) Melt the chocolate slowly SO THAT (IN ORDER THAT) it doesn't burn.
-타지 않도록 초콜릿을 천천히 녹여라.
cf. They were short of fresh water, SO THAT they drank as little as possible. (결과의 so that)
-그들은 신선한 물이 부족했으므로 될 수 있는 데로 물을 적게 마셨다.
* so + 형용사 (부사) + that + 주어 + 동사~: '너무~해서~하다'의 뜻으로 결과를 나타냄
ex) The spice was SO valuable THAT sometimes people paid taxes in pepper instead of money.
-향신료가 너무 귀해서 사람들은 돈 대신 후추로 세금을 내기도 했다.
cf. she’s SO SHY A GIRL that conversing with her can be quite difficult. (so + 형용사 + a + 명사) = She's SUCH A SHY GIRL that conversing with her can be quite difficult. (such + a + 형용사 + 명사)
