I don't hold out much hope for....는 어떠한 일이 일어날 가능성이 거의 희박하다라는 뜻이 됩니다. 바꾸어 말하면 It's unlikely that's going to happen의 의미와 같은 뜻이 되겠네요.

그녀가 일찍 일어날 가능성이 거의 없다.그녀는 너무 게을르거든.
